What started as a search for quality leather seat covers became a global Land Cruiser empire spanning Maryland, Colombia, the UAE, and Miami.
In 2015, Frank — a devoted Land Cruiser enthusiast — was searching for quality leather seat covers for his beloved 80 Series. What he found instead was a glaring gap in the market: no reliable source existed for premium Land Cruiser parts and accessories.
Drawing on personal connections, Frank discovered a leather seat manufacturer in Colombia. He introduced their products to the Land Cruiser community online. The reaction was electric — within one month, sales hit $20,000.
But Frank's commitment to his fellow enthusiasts came first. He shipped his own Land Cruiser directly to the Colombian factory to verify quality and ensure a perfect fit — and turned the trip into a 1,500km road odyssey from Cartagena to Bogotá, documenting every mile.
That journey, shared with the global Land Cruiser community, generated an avalanche of requests for rare parts unavailable in the US market. The mission to source those components became the founding ethos of Land Cruiser Heaven.
Frank single-handedly managed his burgeoning business, dedicating spare hours in his garage to source unique parts from Colombia and dispatch them globally — all while working a full-time job.
Frank established Land Cruiser Heaven in Hagerstown, Maryland. The 2,400 sq ft facility featured two vehicle lifts, a full suite of auto repair tools, and two technicians dedicated to Land Cruiser resurrection.
Frank faced a pivotal choice: as the business expanded, it demanded his full attention. He took the courageous step of leaving his corporate career to dedicate himself entirely to Land Cruiser Heaven.
Frank inaugurated Land Cruiser Heaven Colombia in the free trade zone of Cartagena — a 4,000 sq ft restoration hub handling all US-based comprehensive restorations. Strategically positioned near an international port, the facility employs 20 staff and simultaneously services five full-frame restorations.
Frank scaled up the US branch by acquiring the former Buick dealership in Hagerstown. The 35,000 sq ft facility features a 2,000 sq ft showroom, 12,000 sq ft repair section, 8,000 sq ft storage, 4,000 sq ft of office space, and a private lot for 40 vehicles.
Land Cruiser Heaven expanded internationally to the United Arab Emirates, enabling access to rare Toyota diesel engines, non-US market components, and sought-after Land Cruiser models. A 6,000 sq ft facility was built specializing in custom-built and restored Land Cruisers.
Land Cruiser Heaven opened in Miami, Florida — a full-service workshop serving southeast clientele with everything from routine maintenance to specialized diesel conversions.
After years of multi-location growth, Frank made the strategic decision to consolidate operations. The Colombia and Miami branches were closed, refocusing the business on the two strongest pillars: the Maryland headquarters and the UAE facility. Leaner, sharper, and more focused than ever.
The synergy between Land Cruiser Heaven Maryland and the UAE has proven to be a game-changer. Direct pipelines to the Middle East and Asian markets have dramatically expanded LCH's access to rare parts, hard-to-find vehicles, and specialized services unavailable anywhere else in the US market. What once took months to source now arrives in weeks. The connection between continents is fueling LCH's most exciting chapter yet.
Every decision Frank has made — from that first shipment of seat covers to opening facilities across three continents — has been driven by serving the Land Cruiser community.
