How It Works

Our Process

Phase 1 — Engine & Mechanical Refresh

Making the truck run properly, reliably, and cleanly. Engine diagnostics, tune-up, cooling system, AC refresh, fuel system, ignition, motor mounts, exhaust — the complete mechanical foundation.

Phase 2 — Chassis, Suspension & Brakes

The underbody, driveline, braking, steering, suspension, and axle assemblies. Knuckle rebuilds, brake overhaul, control arms, undercoating, frame work — solid, safe, and roadworthy underneath.

Phase 3 — Paint, Body & Exterior

Rust repair, panel prep, full exterior paint, glass removal and reinstall, weatherstrip, trim, grille, lights, handles, and moldings. The truck looks as good as it runs.

Phase 4 — Interior, Electrical & Comfort

Leather, carpet, sound deadening, audio/video, Apple CarPlay, heated seats, window regulators, vapor barriers, and final trim. Comfortable, modern, and finished inside.

What Each Phase Covers

Every Resurrection is different. Below is the full scope of work that may be included within each phase, depending on your vehicle, goals, and budget.

Phase 1

Engine & Mechanical Refresh

Making the truck run properly, reliably, and cleanly from the engine and supporting systems forward.

Goal: The truck runs right, stays cool, and is mechanically sound at the powertrain level.

Complete vehicle inspection & engine diagnostics
Full engine tune-up
Valve cover gasket service
Front main seal & oil pan reseal
Ignition system refresh
Spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor & filters

Injector cleaning & calibration
Throttle cable & motor mounts
Fuel filter & fuel system refresh
Radiator, water pump & thermostat
Heater hoses, bypass hoses & heater control valve
AC system — compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier, expansion valve

Exhaust replacement
Engine rebuild or short block replacement when needed

Phase 2

Chassis, Suspension & Brakes

The underbody, driveline support, braking, steering, suspension, axle assemblies, and structural mechanical work.

Goal: The truck drives right, stops right, steers right, and is solid underneath.

Front & rear axle service
Brake overhaul — calipers, rotors, pads, drums, wheel cylinders
Hard & soft brake line replacement
Rear main seal & torque converter seal
Transmission pan/strainer service

Rear heater line replacement
Control arm bushings & control arms
Tie rods, power steering pump & hoses
Springs, shocks, torsion bars, leaf packs & bushings

Frame repair or frame swap when needed
Body removal & reinstall when required

Phase 3

Paint, Body & Exterior

Exterior body, paint finish, rust correction, panel preparation, cosmetic restoration, and final exterior presentation.

Goal: The truck looks restored, straight, clean, and complete on the outside.

Full exterior paint — windows-out, jambs, hood & hatch
Body prep, sanding & rust repair

Quarter panel & roof rack hole welding

Body disassembly for paint
Glass removal & reinstall

Every Resurrection is Different

Not every Resurrection includes every service listed above. Some customers want mechanical reliability only. Others want mechanical plus paint. Some want a complete top-to-bottom build. The term “LCH Resurrection” means a comprehensive Land Cruiser restoration and upgrade process tailored to your vehicle, goals, and budget — using the 4-phase LCH system as the framework.
