The Toyota Land Cruiser 79 Series Double Cab is one of the most iconic, capable, and sought-after work trucks ever produced — still in active production globally. The problem? U.S. import law requires a vehicle to be at least 25 years old before it can be legally brought in as a non-compliant foreign vehicle.
At Land Cruiser Heaven, we solve this the right way. We source the genuine 79 Series Double Cab body and build it on a compliant, legal 80 Series Land Cruiser frame — a platform that already meets U.S. safety and emissions standards for its model year. The result is a truck that looks, feels, and performs exactly like a factory 79 Series DC — without the legal complications.
Every build starts with a solid 80 Series donor, goes through our full Resurrection process, and is fitted with the 79 Series Double Cab body, interior, and running gear. The final product is a legitimate, titled, street-legal Land Cruiser unlike anything else in the country.
